“But That Wasn’t Enough for Any of Them!”

With love within his heart it led him.
With a hidden message that he set free.
Upon his troubled brow it had blessed him.
Yet in life he lived within total obscurity.
He gave to all who sought his words.
He gave to all his future through gifts.
He gave away his soul filled with love.
But that wasn’t enough for any of them.

They wanted to saddle him with their sins.
They accused him of being deceptive and false.
Upon his troubled brow they bestowed their thorns.
Yet in life he lived within total humility.
Still he gave all that he could give.
Still he carried the burdens for us all.
Still they mocked him and had cursed him.
But that wasn’t enough for any of them.

At the very end they took his life.
Pounded iron nails into his hands and feet.
Hung him upon a cross on open display.
Watched as his blood spilled upon the sands.
He defended all of them unto his final breath.
He gave his life for all of us.
He sits in heaven with our holy Father.
But that wasn’t enough for any of them.

They have deliberately twisted his legacy with words.
They have saddled his words with their sins.
Life is our sacred trust and our gift.
It’s value is immeasurable and is our trust.
Money upon his church has warped it’s purpose.
Nothing has true meaning without love and sacrifice.
Giving toward our betterment through acts of charity.
But that wasn’t enough for any of them.

We hoard everything in order to produce wealth.
Mistaking wealth of the monetary as our worth.
Currency differentials help enslave others and devalues cultures.
We need no walls with acts of enslavement.
What makes one culture less valuable than another?
Life is truly sacred and it needs protection!
Money’s value is determined from the lives governed.
But that wasn’t enough for any of them.

We have been led about in many circles.
Repeating war to try and justify our values.
Forcing our opinions upon entire cultures through deception.
Trying to disrespect their lives through deceptive inequality.
Migration occurs for the masses wish to earn.
Money is used to obtain a material future.
But money is not our true life’s worth.
But that wasn’t enough for any of them.
