Part A:
Lord (GAOTU):
We are granted this time upon the earth and as for what we do with it, we are on our own. Whether or not we strictly adhere to your guide, which was set forth so graciously out of your love. It is that our choices are granted to us all; through your family’s sacrifices and many infinite graces.
Part B:
Lord (GAOTU):
Why is it that many can’t see that their actions fall short from the paths you have set out for all to see? They go on hurting one another through their actions of ignorance, which go on in perpetuity.
Part C:
Lord (GAOTU):
Nothing is or lasts forever by your own very templates and designs. All shall meet with its end and is to be renewed in its due time. Over this time shall come theirs, mine. I thank you for my seat at your banquet, for the fish, bread, and wine.
Part D:
Lord (GAOTU):
As you had set forth, I am paving my own way as others have done countless times before. My aim is to be kept simple, to do things that can be shared by all. Nothing is free. We must give of ourselves as you had set forth. This is to be done freely in order to create positive change which shall last after our time has gone. We must leave our impressions for those that follow so that they may gain through carrying them on.
Amen.
“Maria: Where is my angel?”
Part A:(me)
Maria:
I have been pleading with you, son. Much time has passed; I am still waiting. Where is my angel? She is hidden. I am unable to see her. Please, I pray, guide her steps toward me this day.
Part B (potential partner):
Maria:
I have been pleading with your son. Time is flowing by, and I am still alone. I am here. Where is my angel? He is missing from my side. To have and to hold and to take me as his bride. Please, I humbly pray, guide his heart so he may find me and be mine.
Part C (Duet):
Maria:
We thank you for bending your son’s ear. We are no longer waiting. My angel is here. To have and to hold from this moment on . . . we are as one.
“Father, Thank You!”
Part A:
Father:
Your time with us was too short. Although we have parted this day, you live through us you left behind. I thank the one above for the blessing of my life and for the other of being your son.
Part B (Sister):
Father:
My brother, mother, and I mourned that your time had come; the one above has called you to heaven to help pave for us the way. May we always follow the light you have left behind.
Part C (Duet):
Father:
We shall carry on. Your love and strength have not gone. They live on within our hearts and minds, although this is goodbye for now. Like the rising of the sun each day, our love shall always burn bright and carry us on.
