“The Path of Life.”

Standing along the edge of a wandering brook, you gaze into the water below.

The reflection of you and the world around is disturbed by the constant movement of the water cascading over the bed of rocks.

The sound of all this movement rushes to your ears, adding its voice to the orchestra of life all around. Yet, with all this activity, you are strangely at peace.

Meaning:

The path often taken in life never runs straight but has many twists, turns and the occasional hill or obstacle to overcome.

Finally after a long period of activity, you finally take a moment to reflect. The recent past does not come into focus too clearly.

There are so many outside forces pulling you in all directions, but you still find a way to get where you want to go.
