“Every Day Is Christmas”

Every day’s Christmas, I know this in my heart
But the world’s run with hate and has turned our love away
Each day, this tears me apart (whisper: tears me apart)
For our lives are precious and special

So, Merry Christmas, toward one and all
May all our burdens be lifted away
I’m telling you; can’t you all see?
That hate must turn into love

Each day’s Christmas, deep within my old soul
I framed everyone with my art from my heart
Each day, their absence is hidden with a smile
Without living my life with that someone special

Those in power, don’t play fair
I’m determined to be myself

Every day’s Christmas, I know this in my heart
But the world’s run with hate and has turned our love away
Each day, this tears me apart (whisper: tears me apart)
For our lives are precious and special

So, Merry Christmas, toward one and all
May all our burdens be lifted away
I’m telling you; can’t you all see?
That hate must turn into love

Each day’s Christmas, deep within my old soul
I framed everyone with my art from the heart
Each day, their absence is hidden with a smile
Without living my life with that someone special

Those in power don’t play fair
I’m determined to be myself

There’s a rift between those that hold sway
Over our lives come whatever that may
We need to treat everyone like ourselves
Before the circle of hate repeats

So, Merry Christmas, toward one and all
May all our burdens be lifted away
I’m telling you; can’t you all see?
That hate must turn into love (whisper: love)
