“The Game of Life . . .”

Love is a pair with passion, so let us begin.
Throw down your hand, let our victory set in.

Love is a pair with passion, starting off with a glance.
Long lingering glances filled with a promising spark.
So why not now? Let me come in.

Our fate shall set in when two become one.
So with a winning hand, I let you walk on in.
My heart up my sleeve.

Although I see the trap set, sitting right in front of me.
There’s really no chance for me. You with the sparkling eyes.
So I let you come right on in.

Love is a pair with passion, it’s the game of life.
So let our game of chance, truly begin.
Let our victory set in.

When all the cards fell upon the table,
Our victory was already within our eyes,
Hand after hand, little did we know.

It was only after our long lingering embrace,
Passions began to truly flow.
Pulling us both to and fro.

Love is a game you must play to win!
So once again, let us begin . . .

“The Problems in This World . . .”

The problems in this world.
Of multiple opposite opinions.
Is that every decision made,
is unmade too.

The problems in this world,
are so damn frightening.
There are too many people,
too little food?

The problems in this world,
make it so uninviting.
Everything seems to be about
funny paper bits.

The problems in this world,
Makes my head swirl.
Whose to be saved,
or perhaps not.

The problems in this world,
Are based upon decisions.
Love must be used,
not hate too.

The problems in this world,
makes my blood boil.
Yet there is hope,
from the faithful.

Oh the problems . . .
Oh the problems . . .
Oh, oh, oh problems . . .
Yet I do still love . . .
